100 Doors - Escape from Prison
Prison is a scary place and we spend most of our time living in a way that prevents our chances of ever ending up there but that's not the case for 100 Doors - Escape from Prison. You play as a new inmate named Beren who has no idea why she was arrested or even how she arrived in prison. However, the cells are more cluttered than one would expect and this is where your keen powers of observation and curiosity are going to come into effect. You need to look around and help Beren investigate so that she can find ways to escape and hopefully figure out what happened to her.
About 100 Doors - Escape from Prison
Escape games are quite popular both in the digital and real worlds with most of them requiring participants to investigate and think creatively. This game is an escape puzzle with each room posing a set of obstacles and problems that you need to solve. You're left with some hints and distractions that can help lead you to the right path, but sometimes you just need to rely on your senses. You're not going anywhere and progress will only be made if you make by finding all the pieces and put them together.
How to Play
100 Doors - Escape from Prison is a 2D escape game where you're trying to help someone escape from a series of prisons using the mouse. To interact with the environment, just move the cursor and click the Left Mouse Button. To collect an object, click on it and it will go to your inventory on the right side of the screen. You can examine objects by clicking them and use them on other objects by dragging them. The goal is to escape the various rooms that lay before you.
When you begin, you'll start in a small but somewhat cluttered cell. By looking around and examining objects, you need to find the key to the door. Once you find it, you can take it from your inventory, use it on the door, and leave the cell. This will take you into an entirely new cell with different theming. As you progress through rooms, different elements will be introduced like puzzles and locked boxes that you'll need to solve so that you can ultimately get the key and move on to the next cell. If you get stuck, you can click on the help button in the corner to get an idea of what to do next or skip the room if you have a spare key.
Tips and Tricks
There are no time constraints or anything to force you to solve under pressure, you've got plenty of time to just relax in the room. You can click on almost anything and if there's something that draws your attention or seems out of place, chances are that it will lead you to something. Investigate everything.
