Attack Robots
Robots make for interesting characters and viable villains based on various sci-fi media and they pop up quite frequently in video games like Attack Robots. You are a human (or possibly a different kind of robot) who must search various environments. You're not only looking for a way out but you're also looking for all the robots that are roaming the grounds. They're tough but you're not helpless since you've got your very own laser gun to take down the metal menace. The number may be against you but you've got a mind and mobility to stay on the move and keep the machines in your sights.
About Attack Robots
When it comes to fighting robots, you've got to be creative, and at the very least you've got to be able to adapt. While this game contains you in levels, you have the controls to give yourself the sharp movement and aiming needed to survive. It's a fast-paced experience where you can see the enemies coming from far off which can influence how you move and when you fire. The design is overall simple and straightforward but it's enough to create an action-packed scenario. The robots are approaching and your laser blaster is burning a hole in your holster, possibly from overheating.

The game is broken up into levels and the goal is to eliminate all the robots in each level. You'll be armed only with a laser gun and can buy Medkits to heal yourself out in the field. Robots will gradually approach your location and fire once you're in range. Your health is tracked in the lower left corner of the screen and if depletes completely, it's game over and you'll have to restart the level.
Your attack comes in the form of a handheld laser blaster. Even though it has a limited amount of shots, its energy will recharge over time. The recharge meter is shown in the bottom right corner of the screen and if it fully depletes, the laser blaster will overheat. If this happens, you'll need to wait until the meter fills up enough before you can fire it again. The blaster has an adaptable range that can even allow you to hit targets from afar.
Robots typically take the form of flying metal orbs. They'll spawn in certain locations which you can see on the map in the top right corner of the screen. They're armed with lasers as well which makes them dangerous at a distance. When you shoot a robot, its life meter will appear above it and it'll be destroyed when it's fully depleted. Upon destruction, robots will drop a health pickup and reward you with coins to spend at the shop on the main menu. You can buy Medkits to help you last longer or different types of laser blasters that offer different power and speed.
Tips and Tricks
The level maps can be surprisingly large with various obstacles and levels which gives you a lot to work with in terms of cover and vantage points. Try to use controlled bursts when attacking so you don't find yourself defenseless. Keep an eye on the map so that you don't get flanked.
