Poppy Playtime is another one of those games to surf the wave of "let's take a childhood setting and make it horrifying" leading to games like Catch Huggy Wuggy! You enter the factory of Playtime Co. with one mission: To catch Huggy Wuggy. This tall blue menace has been causing terror for long enough and now it's time to put a stop to him. You've got a strong chance with the GrabPak to help you out, but other toys will still try to stop you. There's no choice but to stretch things out and push through to the end of this nightmare.

The rail shooter was mainly suited for the arcade where you had plastic guns and the game would lead your character around to different shootouts. This game has the same deal but it has you following multiple straight paths which is normal for a factory. Since that's how it's arranged, you can focus more on the use of the hands to hit the things and enemies that you need to hit. There isn't much room for error as the toys become more aggressive and faster so you'll need to be precise with your handiwork. Such is necessary when you're clearing out a hostile toy factory.
How to Play
Catch Huggy Wuggy! Is a 3D rail shooter about trying to catch monster toys in a factory using the mouse. To shoot the hands, move the cursor to the target and then press the Left Mouse Button. The hands will alternate as you click or will shoot out together depending on the prompt. The goal is to reach the end of each section by navigating the hazards and dealing with all the toys. If you get attacked or overwhelmed by the toys, you'll need to try the section again.
After you start your adventure, you'll begin wandering down a hallway in the factory. As you do, you'll encounter turns, gaps in the floor closed doors, and other obstacles to get past. You'll also encounter toys that will be waiting for you or will appear as you approach. When this happens, you'll need to use your hands to hit them and knock them out. More toys will appear as you progress and some will be better protected. The hands can also be used to interact with buttons, switches, and hand icons that will appear as you advance.
Tips and Tricks
Since this is a rail shooter, you have no control over the path that you will follow. This means that you can spend more time observing your surroundings so that you can eliminate threats rapidly. You'd best be wary of encounters with big toys as they will move much faster and will require multiple interactions to defeat.
