ChasingHunters
The Old West has had so many movies, stories, and games associated with conveying the lawless country fantasy like in ChasingHunters. The way it looks, being a lawman or a bounty hunter was a very hard life that had you hunting down violent criminals to protect the community and make a living. You're stepping into the dusted boots of what appears to be some kind of hunter with a special rifle who has taken to going after wanted criminals and bandits. It's a dangerous job, but someone's got to do it, and that job has fallen to you with the promise of rewards on the horizon.
About ChasingHunters
Bounty hunters are still very much a thing that exists but back then, they were supposedly there to help fill out some of the roles of law enforcement. This game has you playing as one hunter who is focused on quickly taking out the targets once he tracks them down. Of course, this means that you need to have some pretty good aim to take them out before they take you out. You don't have any backup, so you need to be fast and accurate to take them out and stay alive. As long as you keep them in your sights, you'll have a chance to walk away.
How to Play
ChasingHunters is a 3D arcade game about hunting down criminals in the Old West using only the mouse. At the start of each level, you'll have a crosshair icon at the bottom of the screen to click and hold the Left Mouse Button on. This will bring up the gun sights and you can move it around to aim at different targets. Releasing the button will fire and then you'll need to repeat to take another shot. When wielding dual pistols, aiming is less accurate, and holding down the Left Mouse Button lets you fire multiple shots where the cursor is placed. Your health bar is shown at the top of the screen and those of enemies are above their heads. The amount of rounds you have is below your health bar and if you lose all your health, you'll need to retry the level again. The goal is to eliminate all the criminals in the area.
Before you start, you can check the shop and upgrade options on the main screen where you can purchase new guns and upgrade your current ones using cash gained from missions. You click where indicated to start playing when ready. You'll be posted in an area where you have decent cover but are still vulnerable. You'll be looking over an area with criminals walking around and objects like buildings, fences, crates, and such. The targets are marked by portraits at the very top of the screen and once you eliminate them, they'll be checked off. The enemies won't start firing until you do, giving the element of surprise.
Targets will take damage from any direct shots you land. As you progress, enemies will become tougher and start dealing more damage.
Tips and Tricks
As soon as dynamite crates are introduced, you should make use of them. When hit, these boxes explode and do massive damage to any enemies near them, even destroying structures that they may be standing on. Aim for headshots and always take out the enemies closest to your position.
