Deathly Dungeons
The dungeons are always calling for adventurers despite that not being their intended purpose, especially with reputations like Deathly Dungeons. It's in the name, there will be lots of death and it's not limited to just what's already dead inside. If you're going into these places, there's a chance you'll die but you won't get any treasure if you're not willing to risk a little life. At least your warriors seem pretty skilled so you can rely on their strength and abilities to keep them alive for a while. The rest of their survival depends on you so keep that in mind.
About Deathly Dungeons
Anything can be considered a dungeon if you use your imagination, but sometimes the classic stone walls and chains are enough to sell the idea. This game presents you with a lot of dungeons that follow the traditional appearance while hoarding lots of treasures. Of course, with that amount of treasure, there are a lot of monsters looking to chow down on any adventurers who are foolish enough to seek it. The monsters will be looking to overpower you which is why you need to be crafty and make use of any powers that you can find so that you don't become another death in these dungeons.
How to Play
Deathly Dungeons is a 2D top-down dungeon-crawling game about fighting monsters and collecting treasure with the mouse and keyboard.
Controls
- Cursor - Aim
- Left Mouse Button - Attack
- W - Move Up
- S - Move Down
- A - Move Left
- D - Move Right
The goal is to fight off the monsters until you slay them all and can move on to the next dungeon. Your health and experience are shown in the top right corner of the screen. If your health reaches zero, you'll need to retry the dungeon. The top of the screen shows how long until the dungeon boss arrives. For an additional challenge, you can try Endless mode to see how long you can last.
When you begin, you get to choose which hero you want to control a fighter, a mage, an assassin, and a warrior. You can also spend the gems that you collect in dungeons for additional gear to give your hero passive boosts. You can then pick your dungeon with the move becoming unlocked as you defeat dungeon bosses. You'll be spawned in an empty part of the dungeon and enemies will start spawning from offscreen and advancing toward you. When slain, they can drop gems to be collected and for experience. When you level up, you'll gain a random bonus to one of your stats. You can also find items around the dungeon that will give you powers such as protective barriers, fire traps, and potions to heal.
After the boss timer bar fills up, the boss will appear. The timer will then turn into a health bar and should you kill the boss, you'll be able to leave with your winnings and unlock the next dungeon.
Tips and Tricks
The biggest choice is the hero that you pick since they all have differing stats. They all share a projectile attack, but as more monsters appear, keeping your distance will become more challenging. Power-up items are limited so be careful not to use all of them at once and save a few for the boss.
