Garden
The garden is a place where many titles have tried to create a relaxing or puzzling experience like in Garden. You are possibly a neighborhood gardener who has decided to go on a journey to visit all the gardens that you can. While visiting, it's only natural that you should help out and tidy up each one. Though they may be bearing lots of fruits and elements, they're all in disarray. The only way to fix this is to sort them together so that they can be properly collected and so that more things can grow and culminate. Put on your gloves and prepare your green thumb for sliding.
About Garden
Garden games typically involve planting things, growing them, and then harvesting or caring for them in their fully grown state. In this game, everything is already fully grown and bearing fruit, you're just here to collect it. Of course, the challenge comes from collecting it so that it doesn't mess with the other crops and elements. They won't affect each other, but they'll continue taking up space until there's no more room for anything else to grow. A garden needs space for more things to grow and the challenge falls to you to harvest in a way that provides that space.
How to Play
Garden is a 2D puzzle game about matching all sorts of garden-related things to clear out the gardens using the mouse. To move tiles around, click and hold the Left Mouse Button and then drag the tile up, down, left, or right to swap places with the adjacent tile. The goal is to harvest the requested elements as shown at the top of the screen. If you fail to do so within the limited number of moves also tracked at the top of the screen, you'll need to retry the level.
The levels are shown on a map and arranged in a path. Each level costs one heart to play and your heart counter is shown in the top left part of the screen. When you pick a level, you'll be shown a grid that can take on various shapes and have objects like patches of grass taking up space. From the start, you can begin swapping tiles to make matches. You must line up three or more to get a match and remove them from the grid. When you do, more tiles will fall from the top into the empty spaces. As you progress, you'll unlock power-ups which can be used to help in various ways such as eliminating certain tiles or removing a portion of tiles from the grid.
Tips and Tricks
The power-ups can take some time to earn so you should hold onto them for the most dire of moments. It's tempting to make matches when you see them but remember to keep the requested tiles in mind. Reaching the goal should be a priority, though look for matches that will lead to a domino effect.
