There are lots of names for spies and assassins but the term "ghost" continues to pop up and returns in Ghost Walker. You are an assassin with a grudge against some unknown criminal organization that tried to kill you. After not getting killed and tracking down the boss, you tell him that you plan to hunt him down. He understandably flees and vows to make things very difficult for you as you're forced to fight your way through waves and levels of underground locations. You may not have firepower, but you have a sword, and physics-defying assassin abilities on your side.
About Ghost Walker
The mark of any good assassin is being able to get in and eliminate your target without anyone ever knowing you were anywhere near the location. This game takes away the element of surprise since the gang knows that you're coming and you have a whole new degree of challenge. All the guards will be on high alert and firing at the slightest sound or movement in hopes of hitting you. You may be a good assassin, but you're still flesh and blood. You'll need to get through lots of bullets to reach the boss in one piece and be in good enough shape to cut him down.
How to Play
Ghost Walker is a 2.5D arcade platform game about an assassin hunting down criminals using only the mouse. To aim the assassin, hold the Left Mouse Button and then drag the cursor to change the directory. While aiming, time will slow down and you can launch the assassin by letting go of the button. The goal is to reach the end of the level and eliminate all targets in the way. Your health is indicated by three hearts in the top left corner and if you lose all of them, you'll have to restart the level.
Before you begin, you can choose your assassin hero and what weapon they take into battle, though this is purely for visual appeal. You can unlock more options by buying them with coins or by finding enough keys and unlocking chests. After that, the level will begin by spawning you on the right and you have to make your way left through the building. Guards will be marked red and will fire bullets periodically in your direction. A red ring indicator will appear around them when they're preparing to fire. By launching yourself at guards and bullets, you can eliminate them. You can also do this to break boxes to find keys and replenish hearts. The end of the level will be indicated by a bright outline.
Tips and Tricks
There is no limit to how many times you can jump through the air and it's your best tool. It lets you slow your surroundings so that you can assess danger and make your best move. Bullets will damage you if you aren't aiming at them so be careful when to move past them.
