Google Feud
Google is perhaps the most used website in the world simply because so many use it to get to other websites and it has given birth to games like Google Feud. It's no surprise that people search for some really weird things with so many having made jokes and even entire shows about it. Well, that's the basis for Google Feud which is something you can enjoy on your own or with a whole party of people. You may be someone who just knows people or has a tendency to search for weird things yourself with both being ways that you can dominate this game.
About Google Feud
Google is no stranger to gaming, having tried to market and pushed its Stadia service before it was eventually shut down. However, this game makes it a point that maybe Google should help create games rather than try to be its own gaming platform or service. This game is simple and silly but has mass appeal and can be played in a variety of scenarios. It's also based on something people see almost daily so they're able to easily relate to it. If Google wants to get back into gaming, looking at this title can help them down the right path.
How to Play
Google Feud is a quiz game about search queries that is played entirely with the mouse and keyboard. Use both as you would do to navigate the Google search engine. Click on the area or button you want to interact with and type your thoughts. The goal is to get as many right answers as possible before moving on to the next round.
You're presented with a mock-up of the Google Search web page showing various categories. After you pick a category, you'll be taken to the search bar screen where the start of a query will be shown. Below it will be a list of the query with numerous endings blocked out. You must guess how each of the queries ends. Click the search bar to type in your answer and then click the Guess button to enter it. If you're correct, one of the blocked-out words will be revealed and you'll earn the amount of points opposite it. If you're wrong, an X will pop up. If you get four Xs, the rest of the answers will be revealed and you can go to the next round.
You can also play Feudle in the top left of the screen which presents a query, but all the answers will be the exact same amount of letter. For randomization, you can click "I'm Feeling Lucky" or "Question of the Day". For a more relaxed challenge, you try "Easy Mode".
Tips and Tricks
As a Google User, you need to use what you know about Google and people in order to succeed. The queries range from understandable to outrageous which means you'll have to get into a weird headspace to get all the right answers.
