Not all of us have easy access to a theme park and may need to travel quite far for even the smallest rides, or we could just go to the world of Kogama: Crazy Coasters. Based on its design, the Kogama series is leaving itself open for community-created content and this entry is a perfect example of that. While other Kogama games tend to have goals and directions for you to follow, this one is mainly about having fun and going for a ride. This is because you are literally trying various rides that have been made for your avatar to try out. No lines, no waiting!

About Kogama: Crazy Coasters

Kogama is ripe for customization and being altered to have basic yet solid models that can be built upon and altered. However, this game is more focused on the world instead of the characters and has expanded because of that. Different arrangements of platforms, paths, and elements have been combined to make a series of rollercoasters that would be shut down the moment anyone tried to open them. There's also some navigation that you can do to find all of the available rides and there's a bit of a challenge in trying to arrange yourself in the right ways to reach the end of each ride.

How to Play

Kogama: Crazy Coasters is a 3D platforming game about exploring a world of rollercoasters using the mouse and keyboard.

Controls

Cursor - Look/Aim
Left Mouse Button - Fire/Attack
W/Up Arrow - Move Forward
S/Down Arrow - Move Backward
A/Left Arrow - Move Left
D/Right Arrow - Move Right
Spacebar - Jump
E - Collect/Use

The goal is to experience all of the different rollercoasters and see if you can ride them to the end. Long falls and such can drain your health which is tracked in the top left corner. It's also very easy to fall off the tracks, so be prepared to restart if you fall.

You can customize your avatar in the shop and then jump into the hub area. All the rollercoasters will have labels and slide entrances to get them started. When you enter a rollercoaster, the path will do the rest and you need to stay on. You can also control the camera without moving so that you can see what's happening around you. There are also warp pads that can take you to different parts of the hub area. You can also take a warp pad to a battle arena where you can collect weapons and fight other players if you wish.

Tips and Tricks

Since this is more or less a theme park, you should just enjoy yourself. A lot of the rides have strange names so don't be afraid to feed your curiosity. The physics are not exact so don't worry if you fall off no matter how little you move, that's always a possibility.
