Ludo Fever
Dice are probably the most accepted symbol for chance and gambling and they're the main tool you'll need to work with in Ludo Fever. This digital board game is heavily based on luck and trying to beat the odds through probability. Like with actual gambling, you'll keep telling yourself that you need just one more roll to get the numbers that you need. When you get tons of successes, you want to get your streak going and when the failures start to mount, you want to keep going to make a comeback. Keep in mind that other players in the game will be feeling the same hunger.
About Ludo Fever
Digital board games have grown in popularity since they're easily accessible and familiar to many folks with some being easier to grasp than others. This is one such game you can get a handle on after watching a few rolls. Since rolling is the only thing that you need to worry about, you can quickly get sucked into the thrill of getting high numbers and eventually just any numbers that lead to you making progress. Each victory and every setback feels huge with the tides changing constantly as you keep hoping that luck will be on your side for a bit longer.
How to Play
Ludo Fever is a 2D top-down board game about rolling dice that you can play with just the mouse. The only thing you need to do to play is move the cursor over to the die in your corner and click on it with the Left Mouse Button to roll. After your roll, the turn order goes clockwise until it returns to you. The goal is to get all of your pieces around the board and to the section matching their color.
Based on your dice roll, different outcomes will produce different results. All of your pieces start in a box in your corner. To get one onto the board, you need to roll a 6. This also allows you to roll again and pieces can stack on top of each each other. When you have pieces on the board, any non-six roll results in the piece moving that amount of spaces forward. If you have multiple pieces on the board, the piece in front will be the only one affected until it reaches the end or gets sent back to the box.
If your piece lands in the same space as an opponent's piece, the opponent's piece will be crushed and sent back to its starting box. This can happen to your pieces as well. You can play against computer players or locally with other people.
Tips and Tricks
There's very little that you can do to ensure victory in a game like this. It's all based on luck and sometimes the opponents will just have better rolls than you. As such, all you can do is keep rolling and push forward.
