About Mahjongg Candy
Mahjongg is one of the oldest board games we have to date while also being one that was shown to effectively work as a solo game. This version conveys that while using candy to put a more whimsical spin on things. It's not just the tiles that are different, but it's also their arrangement that makes them stand out in different ways. Also, since more people are familiar with candy shapes and colors than Mahjongg symbols, it could be easier to spot similar-looking tiles at a glance. Of course, you won't know for sure until you actually play and see all of those colorful treats for yourself.
How to Play
Mahjongg Candy is a board game involving picture tiles that can be played using only the mouse. You can scan over the different tiles with the cursor, highlighting them as you move past. To select a tile, click the Left Mouse Button. You can only select one tile at a time as you look for its match. The goal is to clear the board of all tiles within five minutes by making matches.
The game follows traditional Mahjongg rules but has some notable differences. As a reminder, you can only match tiles with the same candy, but tiles that are blocked on both sides or covered by another tile cannot be selected. There are no "Wild" tiles but there are multiplier tiles marked by being a solid purple and having a number. When these tiles are matched, that multiplier will be applied to your matches for a bigger score. The tiles are also arranged in various piles rather than just one structure. Still, you can make matches between tiles no matter how far apart they may be from each other.
The game ends when the timer runs out or there are no more available moves to make.
Tips and Tricks
Even though the timer applies pressure to move fast, the arrangement allows you to see many of the accessible and blocked tiles right from the start. Spend some time scanning the layout so that you don't make careless matches that may block your progress in the future.
