There are certain conditions that you need to fulfill to be considered a sage and the Frog series is trying with more entries like Paint The Frog. It's unknown why these frogs are appearing in all of these random situations, but now they're focusing on the more cosmetic side of things. This doesn't mean that they'll be wearing clothes or other accessories, but instead will be changing their colors. There are already frogs of various colors appearing before you, but now they want to match and that's where you come in. After all, it's not like the frogs can paint themselves… well, not yet anyway.
About Paint The Frog
While having a different title from the other Frog titles, it still has the same feel and gameplay as its peers. In many ways, this game is perhaps the simplest and possibly the least challenging of the bunch. Still, the sense of challenge and speed is there while having the most limited inputs and testing your reaction speed. It's another type of endless game where you're trying to get a bit further each time while also sharpening your processing and movement speed. Even if you end up making multiple mistakes in a row, you can always take a break and then come back later. The frogs will still be there.
How to Play
Paint The Frog is a 2D tap game that uses the mouse. Use the cursor to move around the game screen and then click the Left Mouse Button to tap. The goal of the game is to paint as many frogs the same color as you can. You'll have a set amount of time to complete as many groups as possible.
When you start, you'll be shown a group of frogs. You need to paint all of them the same color by tapping on them. When all the frogs match, you'll move on to the next group of frogs. Some frogs will be holding coins which you can collect by tapping on them. The amount of time you have left will appear at the top of the screen. When you run out of time, you'll have the option to buy more time or to restart.
Before you begin painting, you have the option to buy power-ups to help out using the coins you've collected. There are three types: Magnet, Frog Prince, and Extra Time. The first lets you collect coins more easily, the second spawns a Frog Prince for additional points when painted, and the third adds extra seconds to the timer.
Tips and Tricks
This is a game where you need to quickly assess the arrangement. Ideally, you'll want to paint the least number of frogs the dominant color to move on. However, if you want to farm coins, you may need to color more frogs to compensate.
