How to Play
Red Stickman: Fighting Stick is a 2D platform game about a red stickman fighting their way through dungeons using the keyboard.

The goal of each level is to find the key and then get to the exit at the end. The stickman has their health shown in the top left corner and their gold in the top right. Each hit from an enemy or projectile will take a decent chunk away from their health but certain traps like spikes and acid can cause instant death. When stickman dies, they'll respawn at the last checkpoint. If they lose all their lives, indicated by a number near their health, you'll need to start the level from the beginning. Your world progression is shown at the top of the screen at the start of each level.
Before you begin the adventure, you can explore the main menu to give your stickman different skins, weapons, and pets. The first two are cosmetic, but pets can earn you more gold and have additional effects. You can unlock more items by completing achievements, spending gold, and watching ads. When you start the level, you'll spawn on the far left and have to start making your way through.
In addition to platforming, hazards will take the form of traps, enemies, and mechanics. Most enemies will move the ground or through the air damaging on contact, while others will throw projectiles or explode if you get too close. You can either avoid enemies or dispatch them with your sword. There are moving platforms, springs to launch you up, blocks to push, and buttons to press to activate features like opening doors. At the end of each world, you'll get to face off against a boss. The bosses will face you in a contained arena so both it and you can move around.
The main collectible is gold, but you can also find power-ups like magnets and extra lives to aid you. There are also red gems that are carried by enemies and when you collect three, you'll have the chance to open several chests for extra rewards. Lastly, you can collect letters that spell SWORD which will unlock a new sword as a result. Of course, you can also find swords to pick up and equip in the level itself.
Tips and Tricks
You need to know that the stickman has a pretty big hitbox that can work against them when trying to squeeze past traps or weave through enemies. Your sword has a decent range meaning you don't have to get super close to enemies to hit them. Make sure you check the walls as well to find secret passages that can net you greater rewards.
