The stickmen have been battling on the internet for who knows how long and we're just witnessing another conflict in Stick War: Infinity Duel. The title does indicate something that may be quite true: Thet the stickmen will keep fighting forever. They've been known to use all sorts of weapons from experimental technology to their bare hands. This time though, it's all about who can get their hands on the weapons first. The one who gets to the gun will have the best shot at coming out on top and then they can stick it to their opponent… with bullets.
About Stick War: Infinity Duel
The stickmen have been portrayed in various ways but one of the most entertaining is the uncoordinated variety for added chaos. This game uses that variety and then plops down the fights in an arena with obstacles and platforming. You need to manage the gangly limbs and the awkward movement to get where you need to be and get into the prime position of firing. This also means you'll need to manage smooth and rapid movement to dodge shots should your opponent be the first to the guns. It makes for a goofy but enjoyable combat scenario with plenty of time for quick matches.
How to Play
Stick War: Infinity Duel is a 2D fighting game involving gangly stickmen and guns controlled by the keyboard.
Player 1 Controls
- Up Arrow - Jump (tap again to double jump)
- Left Arrow - Move Left
- Right Arrow - Move Right
- L - Fire Weapon
Player 2 Controls
- W - Jump (tap again to double jump)
- A - Move Left
- D - Move Right
- F - Fire Weapon
The goal is to eliminate your opponent using weapons around the screen as quickly as possible. The score of each stickman is color-coded and tracked at the top. The health of each one is displayed above their heads and when it empties, that stickman is eliminated.
Before you begin, you can choose if it will be a one-player or two-player match as well as the arena and the weapons available. Once you start, the stickmen will spawn on opposite sides of the arena. The arena can have platforms, moveable objects like crates, and obstacles like walls. As time passes, weapons will spawn by dropping from the air. You'll automatically equip a weapon by touching it. Your movement will affect your aim, and shots will push back stickmen based on their power. Falling off the arena results in instant death.
Tips and Tricks
The biggest hurdle to overcome is the lack of aiming. The more you move, the more your arms flail around and make it more difficult to land shots where you need them. Try to make direct and deliberate movements to reduce the amount of flailing and track your arms better.
