I think some of us look upon monkeys with envy since even though they're so closely related, they have such freedom that can be seen in games like Swing Monkey. Monkeys have been observed doing many things in the wild, but one of their most defining activities is being able to swing through trees with ease. Even if we had easy access to such an environment and practiced constantly, we'd never be able to swing so naturally and gracefully. That's why we have little games like this to give us a sense of what it could be like and make us feel good while doing it.

This game is one that's made to be quick, simple, and enjoyable but with some challenges thrown in. There's only so much that you can do when you're at the whim of the game as the levels progress and layouts get more busy. But this is where the trick lies as you know that you have little control so there's nothing stopping you from getting to the end of the level except your own determination. You'll keep playing level after level and before long, you'll be wanting more just to see that happy little monkey keep on swinging through this oddly-arranged jungle.
How to Play
Swing Monkey is a 2D arcade-style game about a swinging monkey that you control with the mouse. The monkey will fall and fly freely and you just need to click the Left Mouse Button to have it swing from various swing points. Holding the button maintains a swing and letting go releases it. The goal of each level is to get the monkey to the finish line at the end.
Each level begins with the monkey falling down at the start and you need to have it grab a swing point. Swing points that are in range will have a black dotted line around them. When the monkey swings, it will do so with the momentum it had before attaching. Over time, the monkey will lose swing moment unless supported by an environmental object like a spring platform. If the monkey falls below the bottom of the screen, you'll need to reset the level. More obstacles like rings and barriers will be introduced as the game progresses which the monkey will need to avoid in order not to lose momentum.
Tips and Tricks
Since it's impossible to guess the layout of the level beforehand, you should attach the monkey at the highest point when it drops in. This will almost always guarantee a long and fast swing that will allow it to soar through the level and attach to any other swing points if need be.
