A lot of us wish that we could be larger or taller but that doesn't come easily unless we're dealt the right cards or we're like the guy from Tallman Run. This non-descript character wants nothing more than to be the biggest and tallest guy in the city. Thankfully, he's got the magic power of math to help him achieve his goals and all he has to do is run. Of course, it's not just for himself, since there's a giant at the end that he can only reach if he builds up enough bulk to jump up and kick it in the face.
About Tallman Run
These running games are generally relaxed but can provide some stimulation when it comes to doing quick calculations and movements. This game is just that and gives you a nice pace for your run. You get plenty of time to see what's coming up ahead so that you can decide what routes will make the best ways to get bigger. On the flip side, you'll also need to decide which routes will deal the least amount of damage. It's all about managing the bulk you're able to get before you reach the final runway to your destiny of hopefully beating that giant.
How to Play
Tallman Run is a 3D running game about getting bigger and taller to defeat a giant using the mouse. The man will only run when you have the Left Mouse Button pressed. To move him to the left or right, you need to drag the cursor. The goal of each level is to get big enough so that you can power through all the barricades in the final stretch and reach the giant. If you fail at any point, you just need to try the level again.
Before each level, you can explore a small town and unlock new features with the gems you've earned. The gems can also be used to improve your starting size and speed. Once the level begins, you can choose to run and stop at your leisure. As you make your way along the path, you'll come across force fields that will increase your size (blue) or reduce your size (red). There will also be black and yellow barricades that will reduce your size on contact. Other obstacles can also reduce your size while launch pads can help you get past some of them. In addition to collecting gems, you can also collect arrow power-ups that function similarly to the force fields.
By completing levels, you'll earn more gems and progress toward unlocking new cosmetics. The gems can be used to change your body appearance as well.
Tips and Tricks
The pace of the game is slow so you can determine your timing. It's possible in some circumstances to run through two blue force fields at a time if you line yourself up correctly. If you can't get both, always go for the bigger numbers as long as they have a strong mathematical function to match.
