The TV used to dominate the living room and in many places it still does, but some TVs want to have their own adventures like Telly the TV. After years of sitting and being watched, Telly has had enough and decides to go out and see the world. Equipped with spring wheels and a new attitude, Telly heads out on a journey that may be more dangerous than they expected. However, Telly won't let that slow them down as they roll with punches and spring into action to show that even a TV can have its own show… maybe on TV.

You can find plenty of stories about inanimate objects having some sort of adventure that can be unexpectedly emotional if you aren't prepared. This game expects you to be prepared so that you can help Telly along the way. They are a TV so there are certain limitations that they have to work with and your game knowledge will need to help them through. There are lots of enemies and hazards ready to crack Telly's screen, but only if you're too careless to keep it intact. Summon your platforming prowess to be the TV that was always watched but never truly seen.
How to Play
Telly the TV is a 2D platforming game about a TV going on an adventure using only the keyboard.
Controls
- Up Arrow - Jump
- Down Arrow - Drop Down
- Left Arrow - Go Left
- Right Arrow - Go Right
The goal is to help Telly reach the end of the level as indicated by a large TV screen. Their health bar and key counter will be shown in the top left corner of the screen. As Telly takes damage, they'll lose health and if they lose all of it, they'll be sent to the start of the level.
When you begin, Telly will spawn on one side of the level. They'll need to go through the level and try to collect five keys to activate the exit screen. There will be enemies patrolling the level that will hurt Telly on contact, but some can be defeated by jumping on top of them. There are also pills scattered around the level that can restore Telly's health and sometimes will be dropped by enemies. Spikes and pitfalls are hazards that Telly will have to avoid while exploring. After collecting all the keys, you can head to the large TV screen to move on to the next.
Tips and Tricks
This is a quick platforming adventure with Telly who can move relatively quickly and do fast but short jumps. Mind this when going through the moving platforming sections and always wait until the last moment before jumping. Be mindful of enemies that have aggressive or unusual movement patterns so that you evade them better.
