Time Shooter 2
The SUPERHOT universe is much more disturbing the closer that you look into it but that won't stop people from diving in with titles like Time Shooter 2. You are any unsuspecting target in a world of white environments and mannequin-like beings that want nothing more than to destroy you. At least you've got two things to your advantage: The ability to control time-based on movement and accessibility to a wide variety of weapons. There's no need to question why you're being hunted, you simply need to defend yourself so that you can live long enough to learn more. You could say that it's about time.
About Time Shooter 2
The bullet-time mechanic was a very big deal when it was first implemented and now has become something of a novelty in the gaming world. This game takes that mechanic and turns up its effectiveness while linking it directly to your actions. In a way, this allows it to become a puzzling or strategic experience. You need to make every movement count because all of the enemies will take every opportunity that they can to get closer to you and you're trying to avoid that. As long as you focus on movement and direction, you'll stand a chance to get out of this on time.
How to Play
Time Shooter 2 is a 3D first-person shooter about moving and controlling time using the mouse and keyboard.
Controls
- Mouse Cursor - Look/AIm
- Left Mouse Button - Fire/Grab Weapon
- Right Mouse Button - Throw Weapon
- W/Up Arrow - Move Forward
- S/Down Arrow - Move Backward
- A/Left Arrow - Move Left
- D/Right Arrow - Move Right
The goal is to eliminate all of the enemies in the area before you can move on. There are no stats to keep track of and you simply need to keep fighting until you're told you've won. All of the available weapons are dark to help them be easily spotted and will break when thrown. If any enemy manages to land a successful hit on you, it's game over.
When you begin the game, you'll spawn in a certain area of the level. Within moments, enemies will be locked onto your location and by moving you can see them appear. Time will only move when you're moving. However, actions like looking around, grabbing weapons, attacking, and throwing will not cause time to move in any significant way. Enemies are just as vulnerable as you and can be defeated in a single hit. They will be wielding all sorts of weapons as they advance on your location. Weapons can be found lying on the ground, on tables, and dropped by enemies.
Tips and Tricks
Since time doesn't move without you, you have plenty of time to feel things out. There will be plenty of structures in the area so that you can take cover and slow enemy progress. Just do your best not to get cornered and mind that firearms have very limited ammo.
