Have you ever wondered what the limits of your car are? For all you know, it could have the ability to drive up mountains like the ones in Ultimate OffRoad Cars 2. Somehow, a mysterious organization has gotten their resources on a bunch of different vehicles which have all been designed for ultimate offroad driving. However, this doesn't mean that it makes going all over the geography easy, it just makes it more possible. You still need to take care of your vehicle and be smart about how you drive it or you can end up in a ditch… at the bottom of several mountains.

Cars were initially designed to get from one place to another, but then it became about doing that without being restricted to roads. This game may show us what it's like to go truly off the road with a car. Normally we think about driving through a wooded area or along vast areas of dirt, but no, this one starts you at the top of a mountain. From then on, you realize just how important this car is at keeping you safe and hopefully getting you down the mountain in one piece if you're willing to make an effort.

How to Play

Ultimate OffRoad Cars 2 is a 3D driving game about vehicles going offroad using the mouse and keyboard.

Controls

Cursor + Left Mouse Button - Move Camera
W/Up Arrow - Accelerate
S/Down Arrow - Decelerate/Reverse
A/Left Arrow - Turn Left
D/Right Arrow - Turn Right
Z - Attach Winch
X - Detach Winch
Spacebar - Handbrake
Shift - Change Drive Mode

The goal of each level is to guide your chosen car to the end of the course. The car's condition is shown in the top left corner of the screen. As the car bumps around and jostles while driving, it'll take damage and if it drops to zero percent, the car will be destroyed.

Before you begin, you can have your choice of several offroad vehicles of varying sizes and designs. After that, you can choose any level that's been unlocked and spawn along an uneven terrain. The course will require you to drive the vehicle around tight corners and across narrow routes like bridges. It will also take you up and down steep slopes which can be quite dangerous. If you ever get stuck, you can always reset back to the start of the level.

The winch is your primary tool in navigating the area. You can attach it to certain points and use it to provide some security with descending or ascending but using the winch will not always be possible.

Tips and Tricks

As a driving game, this is all about careful movement. Speed is a good way to end up tumbling over the side, so you need to feel out the course. The winch can be handy, but knowing when to switch between dual and four-wheel drive can prevent you from getting stuck.
