BattleDudes IO is a 2D top-down multiplayer competitive game that you can play using the mouse and keyboard.

The goal of the game will change depending on the mode, but the general idea involves eliminating enemy players while staying alive. In the main lobby, you can change your loadout to determine what gear you have, what perks you use, and how your dude looks. By playing the game, completing challenges, and visiting the shop, you can unlock more features for your dude. Note that much of the content will be locked unless you make an account.
Due to the top-down perspective, you get a wide view of the map so you see through walls and around objects to spot enemies. However, there is a fog of war element in play that mainly applies to closed rooms with no windows. They'll only be revealed by entering the room. Your stats will be shown in the bottom left part of the screen. If your health drops to zero, you'll be eliminated and may have to wait a few seconds to respawn. Points of interest will be indicated on your screen and enemies will not have icons over their positions, simply opposing colored highlights.
Some maps give you access to vehicles that use similar movement controls. If you get to drive a tank, you'll be able to use its cannon on the field.
Tips and Tricks
This is a very fast game where you need to keep moving and shooting back whenever enemies take shots at you. There's no friendly fire and enemy bullets will be highlighted in the opposing color. Always track your ammo usage so that you don't have to reload in a tight spot and use the overworld objects for additional protection.
